How Evident collects, encrypts, and deletes your account data, strategies, and exchange keys.
1. Data We Collect
We collect the email address and display name you provide when registering, session cookies required to keep you signed in, strategies and backtest configurations you save, and billing records for plan or credit purchases.
2. Non-Custodial Keys & Encryption
Evident never holds user funds. If you connect exchange API keys, AI provider keys (BYOK), or an isolated Hyperliquid agent wallet, those secrets are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM before touching the database. We require withdrawal permissions to be disabled on all exchange keys.
3. AI Processing & Market Data
When you generate a strategy, indicator, or chart reading, your prompt and relevant OHLCV market series are sent to our configured AI inference providers (or your own BYOK provider) solely to fulfill the request. We do not sell your strategies or trading rules to third parties.
4. Payments & Accounting
Card payments are processed by Polar (Merchant of Record) and crypto payments are verified on-chain or via OxaPay. Evident does not store raw credit card numbers. Anonymized invoice and ledger amounts are retained as required by tax and accounting regulations.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication, CSRF protection, language preference, and referral attribution. We do not run third-party behavioral ad trackers.
6. Self-Serve Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deletion immediately wipes your email, password hash, encrypted API keys, strategies, bots, and share links.
