A trading forum in every language, with moderation you can see
The Evident forum lets you write in your own language and read everyone else in yours. Here is how translation, limits, reports, mutes and bans work.
Most trading communities split by language. The best discussion of a Solana perp strategy might be happening in Turkish while you read only English, and you'll never know. The Evident forum is built so that doesn't matter.
Write in your language
Every topic and every reply carries its own language. Write in any of the 35 languages Evident knows, including right-to-left ones such as Arabic and Persian, and the page shows it the right way round. The forum list can be filtered by language when you want to stay in one.
Read in yours
When you are signed in, every post in another language has a translate link. The translation is made on demand by the same model Evident uses elsewhere, keeps numbers, tickers, code and links exactly as written, and is clearly marked as a machine translation. The first person to ask for a post in a language spends one AI credit; after that the translation is cached and free for everyone. If the original is edited, the old translation is no longer used.
Limits that keep it readable
A forum without limits fills up with signal groups and referral links within a week. These apply to everyone:
- at most 5 new topics and 30 replies an hour;
- accounts younger than a day can post 3 times that day;
- accounts younger than a week can include at most 2 external links in a post;
- you can edit your own post for 24 hours.
Reports and moderation
Anyone signed in can report a post as spam, a scam, abuse, investment advice, or something else. When enough different people report the same post, it is hidden until a moderator looks at it. The moderator either keeps it hidden or restores it and closes the reports.
Moderators can also mute a member, who can then still read and report but not post, or ban them, which also stops reporting. Every mute and ban has a length and a reason, and the member sees that reason the next time they try to post. Posts containing words the team has blocked, and posts from very new accounts when the team turns that on, wait for approval instead of appearing straight away. Every moderation decision, including the automatic ones, is written to a log.
What the forum is for
Share an idea, a backtest you're unsure about, an indicator that measured well or badly, or what your agent's journal showed. Link to a shared report instead of pasting screenshots of equity curves. Opinions are welcome; promises of returns and paid signal groups are not.
Posts are members' opinions, not investment advice.
Evident does not give investment advice. Past performance does not indicate future returns. Leveraged and automated trading carries the risk of losing capital.
